This compilation includes 86 movies with, apparently, yes, 135 shots. It is as good but more subtle then Chuck Workman’s masterwork compilation of american populist pictures, Precious Images. Sadly, Precious Images seems to be lost as copyright issues could not produce a master beyond what was shown at the DGA’s 75th celebration. Here,  in “135 Shots” you  don’t come into contact with American pop culture, but with the beautiful and the mystical  and the that is so much a part of our romance with pictures.

Yes, I consider my faith restored.
