The Address Of Happiness

May 1, 2013

The The Address Of HappinessThe Address of Happiness, a novella I wrote, will be published mid June. So my twenty-eight-year old boss who is charge of the “social network engine” with the  publisher  had  me make a few “memes” to reflect the qualities of the book.  I looked on WIki and found out what it meant. Once I created a few memes and the “theme” was established, I was to “give him the wheel” and he would “pick it up from here”. So I guess I won’t be doing any more memes unless I am asked to!

So this is the “wheel” I gave my young boss today. It has three spokes, I suppose, because there are three pictures below. I actually think they came out pretty good.  I know the second pic with all the doors is a staple on the internet but I could not resist the tired and true — as it went well with the text. I think the quotes from the book actually add something. What do you think? I’m not looking for compliments — does it say this is a spiritual and romantic piece?

It’s an odd book – a cross between Dr. Seuss and Kahlil Gibran – but it has become its own voice. Actually an early review called it the new  Jonathan Livingston Seagull. I did not consider it a slur! That book helped a lot of peeps or gulls!

I have had to do things like set up a personal Twitter account which I did. My handle (is that what you say?) is @artistsofgod. And I now have a follower because it popped up on my email. I must admit, I got a little intimidated by the follower:

Manupforgod I’m not sure of what to do. I was never good at baseball so I guess I might be considered a bit of a sissy. But how can I be a spiritual sissy?

I thought Facebook and Gmail were enough. I thought I was staying “in the game” with my little blog.  But I guess not…now it’s instagram and pinterest and twitter.

“You have NO idea WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN!, says my young boss.” I guess not.

The boss-man just sent me these.  The Address Of Happinessapparently has all these handles now …all these addresses in a manner of minutes.

Now I enter the new world of youth and manning up….

I sure hope I can live up to “Man Up God’s Way”!  Now  that he’s following me,  I don’t want to let him down. I don’t want to let anyone down, anymore, ever.

Such is the stress of the world :-)!

Happy are the pure of heart for they have known the music.
We are strangers to our own lives, setting out in the dark to look for the House of Love which we were meant to know, guided by the Music that wants us to see.
Look in every city or any town. Travel by foot, or train or plane. Do not settle until there is love. For there, there will be the address of your happiness.
